Job at Pretty Group post of Officer/ Sr. Officer – Commercial (local & Foriegn Export/Import/UD) – May 2022

Job Responsibilities

• All bank related commercial works.
• L/C open and Amendment
• Gathering information about import order placed
• Communicate with Supplier and Merchandiser about the L/ C and acceptance.
• Handling Import both local and foreign
• Import document collection and endorsement from bank
• Coordinate with C&F, forwarder & other related offices to assure punctual release of goods.
• Guide and supervise the activities related with the local and foreign export, import, banking and insurance, UD, UP & EPB, Cash incentive documentation and other related activities.
• Responsible to handle Customs, C&F, Freight Forwarding, Shipping, Banking and Export-Import duty and VAT-TAX issues.
• Have sound knowledge in Banking System/FOC/Commercial item and H.S. Code(s) for imported goods and customs clearance formalities thereof.
• To ensure all logistics activities related to Import & Export, International Correspondence.
• Have practical knowledge of Import (Shipping, Freight Forwarding, Chittagong and Dhaka Customs, Bond) and Exports.
• To maintain and Handle Export – Import L/C and Export – Import, T.T. Documentation.
• Should be well conversant and capable of corresponding/negotiating with Supplier & Agent.
• Should have close relation with NBR, Tariff Commission, Bangladesh Bank, DEDO, CCI, BOI and all Govt. Offices related to job responsibilities.
• Should have well knowledge on Commercial terms.
• Should have knowledge of pre-costing and budgeting in favor of business and employer.
• The Applicant must be highly capable to perform/handle all the bond related works proficiently in a large Group of Companies independently.
• The Applicant needs to be capable with knit & woven bond license yearly entitlement & audit independently.
• The Applicant must have the capability to do UP, EX-BOND/IN-BOND in time with assist to factory to maintain BOND REGISTER.
• The Applicant must have the capability to manage bond customs personnel in any irregularities/difficulties.
• The Applicant needs to have the capability to guide a team in proficient way to maintain all the export import statement unit wise for yearly customs audit.
• Reporting to the top management of the company & participating in the Executive committee of the company to take decision with top management.
